A 61-year-old Gravenhurst man faces impaired operation charges after police received a tip from the public at the wharf in Gravenhurst.
OPP responded to a concern about a boater who was possibly impaired on Sunday at 9:10 pm.
Police located the man and charged him with impaired operation and Over-80.
He’ll appear in Bracebridge Court on July 20th to answer to his charges.
The penalty for impaired operation of a vessel is the same as when operating a motor vehicle and therefore this operator had his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
