Starting today, Ontario is once again expanding who will be eligible to book an accelerated second dose appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine.
Anytime after 8 a.m. Monday, anyone who received their first dose on or before May 9 will be eligible to book or rebook their second dose appointment at a shortened interval.
Then, as of Wednesday, individuals in hot spot zones (including Simcoe-Muskoka) who received their first dose on or before May 30, will be able to book their second shot.
The province is hoping that by next week, all Ontarians aged 18 and over will be eligible to book their second dose appointment, at least 28 days after they received their first.
