Southern Georgian Bay OPP says the same man has been arrested twice this month for impaired driving.
Police say a traffic stop was conducted on William Street in Midland early Saturday, and a short time later, the same vehicle was spotted speeding along Highway 12 in Tay Township, but there was a different person behind the wheel.
After the vehicle was stopped, the driver was arrested and the officer learned the man was under suspension for a previous drinking and driving investigation on June 6th.
A 20 year old man from London is now facing several charges including:
Operation while impaired – alcohol
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol conce ntration (80 plus)

Driving while under suspension
Disobey stop sign – fail to stop
Red light – fail to stop
Contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused was released on an recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on June 24, 2021 and is subject to a 90 day licence suspension and vehicle tow/impound under the Ministry of Transportation (ADLS) guidelines.
