The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported two new Covid cases on Wednesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Huron-Kinloss and Hanover tested positive.
With one previous case now resolved, the region’s active known case load sits at 21. Two Grey Bruce residents are currently hospitalized outside the region.
Public Health says there are five people from other health units transferred to local intensive care units in the area.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 110,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Wednesday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
