An Owen Sound man has won some big bucks on a lottery scratch ticket.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says William (Bill) Booey recently scored a $100,000 prize playing Instant Bingo Doubler.
Booey is a retired trucker driver and regular lottery player. It isn’t his first time collecting a memorable amount — having won $9,000 about four years ago.
With his latest big win, Booey has already purchased a new vehicle.
“It’s a beautiful machine with all the bells and whistles and I’ll enjoy every moment in it,” he says.
The winning ticket was sold at Hasty Market on 16th Street East in Owen Sound.
