The OPP has shut down an illegal $5 million cannabis grow operation in Kearney.
Monday at 5:15 pm police executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at a commercial building on Park Road, seizing just under 5,000 cannabis plants, over 200 pounds of processed cannabis, and marihuana processing equipment.
The total value is estimated to be over $5 million dollars.
Three people – two from Toronto and one from Markham – face illegal cultivation and possession charges.
They’ll be in Sundridge court on July 22nd to face the charges.
The investigation continues.
