The MS Chi-Cheemaun is on its way to Tobermory.
Dozens of people lined the walls of the Owen Sound Harbour on Monday morning to watch as the Chi-Cheemaun left dock at 11:15 a.m. ahead of the start of its ferry season.
Tomorrow, the Chi-Cheemaun will make its first trip of the year between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island. It is scheduled to depart Tobermory at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The start of the ferry service this spring was delayed from its original date of May 7 due to the pandemic.
