Georgian Bluffs is putting out a call for engaged residents to join a new council remuneration committee.
Township staff say the committee will inform and create remuneration policies for the next term of council, from 2022-2026.
The committee members will conduct a compensation review to comparable municipalities and file a report with recommendations prior to Oct. 1, 2021.
Three citizens are needed to form the new committee. Per diem will be paid for all meetings attended.
Those interested are asked to submit qualifications and a letter of interest to Georgian Bluffs’ clerk by June 22.
