37 new OPP officers are set to begin serving communities in Central Region after graduating this week.
Locally, 3 will serve in Collingwood while 4 will serve Haliburton.
There will also be two new officers each at the Huntsville and South Georgian Bay OPP detachments.
OPP Chief Superintendent Dwight Peer welcomed the new recruits wishing them the best of luck as they start their rewarding careers.
They will begin their new jobs when they finish training at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer (PR: Elmer), and the OPP Academy in Orillia.
