A festival honouring a Huron County Nobel laureate kicks off virtually for the second year.
Author readings begin Friday for the “Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story,” with a reading from David Adams Richards.
Festival Programming Chair Rick Sickinger tells Country 104.9 News emerging writers can also take part in master classes, where reputed authors will discuss how to further your writing skill set.
“One [class] with award-winning author M.G. Vassanji, and one with Alix Ohlin, who is the Chair of Creative Writing at UBC [University of British Columbia],” Sickinger says.
Author readings for the Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story run Friday through Sunday, while Master Classes run Saturday and Sunday.
