A 66 year old Midland resident is charged with speeding and refusing to provide a breath sample after police stopped a car going 146 km/hr in the posted 40 km/hr zone.
An officer from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP noticed vehicle travelling south bound at high speed through the construction zone on Simcoe County Road 93 approaching Golf Link Road, Midland at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say a drinking and driving investigation resulted in charges of failure or refusal to comply with a breath demand as well as speeding and racing.
