Huntsville OPP’s stats from Canada Road Safety Week are in.
The week ran May 18th to 24th with the campaign’s focus on seatbelt compliance, distracted driving, impaired driving, and speeding.
Huntsville OPP laid the following charges throughout the course of the week:
– Impaired Driving, 1 charge
– Distracted Driving, 1 charge
– Seatbelt Compliance, 6 charges
– Speeding, 352 charges
– Careless Driving, 3 charges
– Failed to Yield, 7 charges
Additionally, Huntsville OPP officers participated in 7 RIDE spot check events throughout North Muskoka.
