Public Health Grey Bruce reported three new cases of COVID-19 in the region Monday. Two residents of Southgate and one South Bruce Peninsula resident tested positive.
With four more resolved cases, the Health Unit says there are 38 active cases in the region, including 30 variants. There are 136 active high-risk contacts associated with the region’s cases.
Public Health says three local people are hospitalized due to the virus and four cases have been transferred from other Health Units to local hospitals, with three in Intensive Care Units.
Over the course of the pandemic there have been seven deaths linked to the virus in Grey Bruce.
There are no reported outbreaks in the region.
7,620 vaccine doses have been shipped to the region this week.
8,553 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the past seven days.
87,689 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Grey Bruce to date.
