The driver of a transport truck that rolled over in Huron-Kinloss earlier this week has been charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence.
Provincial Police, Ripley-Huron firefighters and Bruce County paramedics were called to the single vehicle incident along South Kinloss Avenue just after 10 p.m. Monday night.
According to the OPP, a transport truck had rolled onto its side before coming to a rest in the ditch.
The accident caused a stretch of South Kinloss Avenue to be closed several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
Police say the 58-year-old driver of the vehicle — a Georgian Bluffs resident — was taken to hospital for assessment of injuries OPP describe as non-life threatening.
South Bruce OPP say the driver faces a provincial offence, careless driving as a result of the incident.
