In its first update from the weekend, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 141 new COVID-19 cases and two more virus-related deaths: both Innisfil residents and linked to outbreaks outside of the region.
The health unit also says another 123 local cases have screened positive as a variant of concern, with 759 currently active and three more people have been hospitalized due to the virus.
The new cases reported today include:
