Huron and Perth counties had a slight decline in active COVID-19 cases in the region’s latest report.
Public health officials logged eight new cases of novel coronavirus in the region Friday, while two cases were reassigned to other health units, and ten cases were resolved.
The update drops Huron-Perth from 87 active cases of COVID-19, to 83.
172 residents of Huron-Perth are currently in isolation, as high-risk contacts of COVID-19.
The death toll remains unchanged, at 55.
