Ontarians turning 40 and over this year can roll up their sleeves.
They are among the next in line to get the COVID-19 vaccine through the province’s booking portal today.
Eligibility also extended earlier this week to individuals with at-risk health conditions and Group Two of people who cannot work from home.
The province announced yesterday that it has administered first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines to over 50 per cent of Ontarians aged 18 and over.
It says one million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario since the start of May, and the province remains on track to have administered first doses to 65 per cent of Ontarians aged 18 and over by the end of May.
As of May 13, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., individuals aged 40+ in 2021 in non-hot spot communities will be eligible to book their #COVID19 vaccine at a mass immunization clinic at https://t.co/BqXNJQ33VV or through public health units that use their own booking system. pic.twitter.com/OnxyIcs8NU
