The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 72 new COVID-19 cases today and two new deaths.
24 of the new cases are in Barrie, 3 are in Bracebridge, and 5 are in Orillia.
There’s also a case each in Wasaga Beach, Penetanguishene, and Midland.
Today’s update also includes 173 new recoveries, while 2 more cases have been hospitalized.
To date, 250, 422 vaccines have been administered in Simcoe-Muskoka (36.8 percent of the population with a first dose and 3.4 percent with a second)
