Orillia OPP has charged two drivers with impaired driving offenses after two separate incidents in Oro-Medonte and Ramara.
Saturday, just before 1 am police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Hwy 11 near Line 6.
They found a damaged truck but no driver.
The Canine Unit was called in and they found him, a 37-year-old Oro Medonte man, a short distance away and charged him with impaired driving and Over 80. He’s set to appear in Orillia court on July 6th.
Later the same evening at 8:45 pm, police found a vehicle in a ditch on County Road 47 in Ramara.
They charged that driver, a 42-year-old Ramara man, with impaired driving and Over 80.
He’s also set to appear in Orillia court on July 6th.
