The OPP have charged the operator of a dump truck with dangerous operation causing death, causing death by criminal negligence, and public mischief.
The charges against the 35-year-old Victoria Harbour man stem from a fatal crash on February 5, involving a car and a dump truck on Quarry Road and St. Amant Road in the Township of Severn.
The crash claimed the life of the driver of the car, 60-year-old John Bull.
The OPP says Vincent Vallee, age 35, of Victoria Harbour, was arrested on May 01, 2021, and charged with:
- Dangerous operation causing death
- Causing death by criminal negligence
- Public mischief
The accused was held in custody and appeared on May 01, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
