COVID-19 vaccine appointments in the province are expanding yet again.
As of today, individuals turning 50 and over in 2021 will be eligible to book a vaccine appointment through the provincial online booking system and call centre.
Other groups who are next in line to get the shot as of 8 a.m. Thursday, May 6th include:
- Individuals with high-risk health conditions;
- People who cannot work from home including remaining elementary and secondary school workers; and
- First Nations, Inuit and Métis individuals previously available to book their appointment
- one essential caregiver to individuals with high-risk health conditions
- people with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- individuals on treatments causing immunosuppression
- funeral, crematorium and cemetery workers
- agriculture and farm workers
Eligible groups can use Ontario’s vaccine booking system to find out how to schedule an appointment, or can call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line number at 1-833-943-3900.
