OHL Suits
Two Ontario Hockey League teams; the Kingston Frontenacs and Sudbury Wolves have filed lawsuits against insurance companies claiming the insurers breached their contracts after refusing to cover financial losses in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Frontenacs filed their lawsuit against Lloyd’s Insurance Company while the Wolves suit is against Intact Insurance Company
The OHL cancelled their season in late April after the Ontario government refused the league’s return to play plan.
