The Tom Thomson Art Gallery has some new digital programming.
A release from the gallery says due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, there are new interactive tours and programs available on its free digital portal, which you can access from the comfort of home.
Expansions include the TOM’s game room which features puzzles, printable colouring and activity sheets, and what the museum says are ‘some surprises.’
There are also immersive new virtual visit experiences available including an all-new tour of the Tom Thomson Room with an introduction from Curator of Collections David Huff.
The recent exhibition of David Bierk’s works from the collection is also available for exploration along with JP Moral’s community project #myessential, which reflects on what the pandemic has highlighted as essential in our lives,”
The gallery also has a new program called Ask Me Anything which will launches on Friday, April 30 at 11a.m..
It’s a live stream series that provides everyone a chance to join gallery staff online to learn more about the Tom Thomson Art Gallery, its collection, staff, programming, future plans, and the opportunity to just connect with them.
