The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 99 new COVID-19 cases today in the region.
They include 21 in Barrie, 1 in Wasaga Beach, 3 in Orillia, 2 in Collingwood, 2 in Ramara, and 2 in Collingwood.
One more death is also being reported today.
Also – Muskoka Shores Care Community Long Term Care Home in Gravenhurst is reporting two active cases of COVID-19.
In an update provided today (April 28th) one resident case, as well as a team member case are reported in connection with an outbreak that occurred April 24th.
