Barrie police have fined the organizer of this weekend’s anti-lockdown demonstration at Meridian Place.
Police say hundreds of people gathered downtown on Saturday despite provincial restrictions.
They say ongoing enforcement efforts will continue to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The fine handed to the organizer of the so-called Barrie Freedom Rally was reportedly $880.
