Spring Break has finally arrived.. a month later than usual.
The provincial government says it will begin offering registration for vaccinations this week to education workers who provide direct support to students with special education needs across the province, and all education workers in the select hot spot areas of Toronto and Peel.
It says the roll out will be expanded across the province as supply allows.
The Ontario government says it is also introducing new measures to protect schools against COVID-19 which include refresher training, enhanced cleaning and asymptomatic testing for students and staff at pharmacies and assessment centres all this week.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce has written a letter to families of students about the plan next week, when classes are set to resume. Please see below.
