Grey County’s Business Enterprise Centre is offering two summer grant programs for small businesses.
This training and mentorship program designed for adult entrepreneurs titled “The Starter Company Plus” program, will allow participants to develop business skills as well as a mentorship with a local business, and an added bonus of being eligible to receive up to $5,000 in grants.
Applications for The Starter Company Plus program will become open to the public on April 12 for two weeks on the Made in Grey website before kicking off on July 1.
The other grant opening up this summer, called the “Summer Company Program” gives highschool and post-secondary students the chance to start and manage their own summer business, with successful applicants receiving a grant of up to $3,000 as well as training and a mentorship from local business leaders.
The Summer Company Program applications are available for sign up until May 1 and anyone between the ages of 15 – 29 can apply on the Province of Ontario website.
