Seven new Covid cases and five recoveries were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit on Thursday.
According to Public Health, two people from Georgian Bluffs, and residents of Owen Sound, Kincardine and Northern Bruce Peninsula tested positive. Two cases involving Blue Mountains residents were also transferred from another health unit.
There are now 68 active known cases in the region. Three people are currently hospitalized locally, while the health unit says two Grey Bruce residents are receiving care outside of the region as well.
On vaccination progress in Grey Bruce: 29,272 doses have been administered to date.
Four deaths have been attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce throughout the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Thursday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
