There are two new deaths related to COVID-19 in Simcoe-Muskoka.
The health unit says the latest victims are a Springwater Township man in his 70s who died in the hospital in Barrie, and a woman in her 90s who died at the Bradford Valley long-term care facility where she was a resident.
There are now 24 residents with Coronavirus including a total of three deaths, and seven staff at this long term care home.
The total number of cases in Simcoe-Muskoka is now at 165. That’s six new cases since yesterday.

Meanwhile, a record number of deaths in Ontario have been reported from the coronavirus today.
Provincial health officials are reporting 51 new fatalities bringing the total to 385.
There have been 494 new cases over the last 24 hours which brings that total to 8,447 including recoveries and deaths.
