The Spring forecast for Huron County is good for outdoor enthusiasts.
Environment Canada Senior Climatologist David Phillips says the forecast for the coming months is calling for drier-than-normal conditions along Ontario’s West Coast.
Phillips tells Country 104.9 News he also expects warmer-than-normal conditions, which he hopes will allow farmers to seed sooner in the season.
While warmer temperatures in mid-March helped to quickly melt snow remaining from Winter, Huron County is not done with the white stuff.
Phillips says the region can expect to see more snowfalls, possibly until May, but any accumulation is not likely to last more than a day before it is melted by warmer temperatures.
