Seaforth residents are invited to bid a final farewell to one of the town’s biggest supporters.
A procession for former Economic Development Officer Jan Hawley will make its way down Main Street in Seaforth Monday, at 1:00 p.m..
Hawley died suddenly last Tuesday.
A driving force in promoting local business across Huron County, Hawley is credited for introducing the “Win This Space” contest to the Municipality of Huron East.
“Win This Space” provided business training to would-be entrepreneurs, and is credited for the creation of several businesses across Huron County.
Haskett Funeral Homes says Hawley’s funeral coach will begin at their location on Goderich Street, before turning south onto Main Street at 1:00 p.m., and ending at the Seaforth Golf Course.
Everyone is invited to dress up and say a final goodbye to Hawley from their front doors during the procession.
Haskett Funeral Homes will also be live-streaming the procession, for anyone who cannot be present.
