A special webinar is being held this week on the deadly opioid crisis.
Opioids in our Community – Crisis within a Pandemic is an educational forum to learn more about opioids and how they are impacting our community, including the impact that COVID-19 is having on this already critical situation.
The event starts at 1:30pm Wednesday (March 17) and is being hosted in partnership with the City of Barrie, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and Simcoe Muskoka Opioid Strategy.
Mayor Jeff Lehman says about 3-hundred people have already registered for the webinar.
