A 25-year-old Etobicoke resident’s been charged in connection with two collisions in Orillia.
Saturday just before 2:30 pm, a two-vehicle collision happened on Highway 12.
Police say one of the drivers involved failed to stop, then drove erratically on Memorial Avenue before hitting a building.
The driver was then seen fleeing into the building and was arrested shortly afterwards. No injuries were reported.
The driver’s charges include failing to stop after an accident, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of and possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and two counts each of failing to comply with probation and a release order.
The accused is to appear in Barrie court on November 19th.
