Today is expected to be the last day of unseasonably mild weather, before the normal winter temperatures return, just in time for the weekend.
Flooding and unstable ice are the two major concerns at this time of year.
Residents, children and pets are being advised to stay away from all watercourses, while police are urging residents to stay off the ice as milder weather has brought rapidly deteriorating ice conditions.
Today’s double-digit temperature could be a record-breaker in some areas.
Warm weather and thinning ice is a dangerous combination for all ice users. There is only one absolute when it comes to spring ice safety – just stay off. #NoIceIsSafeIce #OPPSAVE ^in. pic.twitter.com/h9qoXP1aXT

With the warm weather and rain in the forecast it's time to think about the risk of flooding. You can lessen the impact of a flood by taking the time to prepare in advance https://t.co/qx7UfoA24l #BePrepared #FloodReady pic.twitter.com/TWXN1qYqnp
