South Simcoe Police is investigating the death of a dog from suspected poisoning in Innisfil.
Police were contacted by the owner of a dog that had died of suspected poisoning on Sunday.
Police say the dog’s owner had recently taken him on walks in the Webster Boulevard and Prince Court area.
However, the source of the suspected poison and location of the incident are undetermined.
The investigation is ongoing and police are seeking anyone who observed any suspicious activity in the area.
They would also like to hear from people whose pets may have fallen ill recently in unexplained circumstances.
