Applications are now open for the 2021 Backyard Chicken Program in Springwater.
The pilot program is available to all properties that meet the setback requirements, and residents are allowed to keep a maximum of four (4) hens.
To be approved to have backyard chickens, you must submit a complete application with the required supporting documents to the Clerks department for approval.
Applicants are required to renew their license annually, as it will expire on December 31 of each year.
