A red tailed hawk, found by an OPP officer in Caledon is doing well and has been transferred to a long term rehab center.
The officer came upon the injured hawk in the middle of Mayfield Road.
A town roads department employee helped move the hawk to a safe place until an expert from Caledon’s National Wildlife Centre was able to get there and take the injured bird into care.
