Active cases of COVID-19 took a jump in the latest report from Huron Perth Public Health.
The health unit’s coronavirus report on Thursday showed seven new cases of the virus.
Six of the new cases were announced in Stratford, while the last was reported in South Huron.
That brings the number of active cases in Huron-Perth to 23.
The death toll remains unchanged, at 50.
Stratford now leads the region in active cases, with eleven.
In Huron County, two active cases are reported each in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh and South Huron, followed by one active case each in Howick Township and Huron East.
