A peaceful protest is being held in Wasaga Beach today about the region’s placement into lockdown.
It is taking place at 1 this afternoon in the McDonald’s/Tim Hortons plaza at Mosley and River Roads.
Local business owners are invited to attend, and bring signs in order to demand Simcoe-Muskoka be placed back in the less restrictive red zone, allowing more places to stay open.
Organizers say masks are required and social distancing rules will apply.
