Simcoe County paramedics have finally started to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Local paramedics had expressed concern that they weren’t considered front-line workers and had yet to be invited to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
But on Facebook earlier today, OPSEU Local 303 announced that its members have started receiving their first doses of the vaccine in the past few days and thanked the community for its support.
