One new Covid case and one recovery were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit on Friday.
According to Public Health, a Southgate resident tested positive.
The active known case load in the region fell to 16, as two cases previously disclosed by the health unit have now been confirmed as false positives.
One person from the area is currently hospitalized.
Since the start of the pandemic, there has been one death attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, or any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
On vaccination progress: 2,007 doses have been administered in Grey Bruce to date.
