The Toronto Blue Jays traded outfielder Derek Fisher to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations and a player to be named later.
Fisher joined Toronto in 2019 after being acquired from the Houston Astros in a trade.
In 2 seasons with the Jays Fisher batted .177 with 11 extra-base hits in 56 games.
Jackson Found Dead
Former NFL wide receiver Vincent Jackson was found dead at a Florida hotel room, days after authorities spoke with him as part of a welfare check.
A housekeeper discovered the 38-year-old’s body at around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
There were no signs of trauma and the medical examiner’s office was looking into a cause of death at the Homewood Suites in Brandon, near Tampa, Florida
