Shelburne, Orangeville and the rest of Dufferin County will be shifting into the red control zone at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday Feb. 16 2021.
The red zone means non essential businesses can reopen including restaurants though there are capacity limits.
Small social gatherings are permitted and sports facilities can also reopen but with restrictions.
Toronto, Peel and York Regions, and North Bay Parry Sound District will remain under the stay-at-home order until at least Feb. 22.
Here is a closer look at what red zone restrictions mean:
Businesses must screen customers, and limit capacity to keep people apart.
Customers and employees must wear masks,
Restaurants, bars and other food and drink establishments can reopen, but only ten people will be allowed inside at once, with a maximum of four per table and they have to close by 10 p.m.
Sports recreational and fitness facilities may have a maximum of 10 people in classes and 10 people in areas with weights or exercise equipment.
No spectators are permitted except for one parent or guardian per child.
Outdoor ski, ice and snow recreational amenities open for recreational purposes.
