A slight rise in active cases of COVID-19 cases in Huron and Perth counties.
Public Health officials announced 42 active cases of the novel coronavirus Thursday, up from 39 the previous two days.
Three new cases were announced in Huron County, with one each in South Huron, Huron East, and Bluewater.
Another death was also reported Thursday, bringing the death toll in Huron-Perth to 47.
The outbreak at St. Marys Memorial hospital remains active, according to Huron Perth Public Health.
The regional also recorded it’s first outbreak at a licensed childcare setting, the Relouw Early Childhood Learning Centre in Exeter.
