A 40-year-old Midland woman has been charged with drunk driving after a car plowed into a snowbank, right in front of OPP officers..
Police say officers were dealing with an unrelated call on Yonge Street in Midland just after 1 a.m. Thursday , when a vehicle shot past them, skidded out of control and hit a snowbank.
After making sure the driver was okay, officers took her to the detachment where she was given a breath test and subsequently charged.
