A man faces charges after a car crashed into a snowbank in Gravenhurst.
Bracebridge OPP were called to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 11 southbound, near Highway 118 on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say witnesses saw the vehicle weaving on the road, before it went into the ditch and crashed into a snowbank.
Police learned the vehicle was reported stolen out of Brampton and the two men had tried to flee the scene, but one of them was taken into custody, while the other got away.. at least for now.
Police have charged 34 year-old Louis Close of Bracebridge, ON with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CC 354(1)(a) and was held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on February 4, 2021.
