
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported two new Covid cases and three recoveries in the region on Wednesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Owen Sound and Hanover tested positive.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Wednesday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
The active known case load in the region remained at 27, as the health unit disclosed three previously not reported cases in Huron-Kinloss and removed two false positives.
One person from the area is currently hospitalized due to the virus. There has been one death in Grey Bruce due to Covid.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, or any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
As for vaccination progress, there’s been no change in recent days: The Health Unit says 800 doses have been administered in Grey Bruce to date.
