A traffic stop in Oro-Medonte has led to drug charges.
On Friday night, police say an officer was patrolling Highway 11 near Line 12, when a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.
Upon speaking with the driver, the officer noticed open cannabis in the front seat and further investigation revealed what was believed to be a quantity of Methamphetamine.
Police say the driver, Tomo Stevic, age 41, of Etobicoke, was arrested and has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance – Methamphetamine.
The accused was released on a Form 9 Appearance Notice and is set to appear on March 03, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
