A dog has died in a house fire in Lake Of Bays.
The fire broke out around 830 last night at a home on Paint Lake Road and the roof was fully engulfed by the time fire crews arrived.
One man was able to escape the blaze and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The building sustained extensive damage estimated to be approximately $400,000.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate the origin, cause and circumstances.
