
Legions across Huron and Bruce counties have received a boost of funding from the federal government.
Nearly $120 thousand has been distributed to the region’s Legion branches.
Legions in Clinton, Brussels, Lucknow, Exeter, Wingham, Goderich, and Kincardine each received $10,845.05.
The federal government announced a $20 million aid package in November to help veterans organizations survive the pandemic, of which the Royal Canadian Legion received $14 million.
Further funds are expected to be disbursed over the coming weeks.
